Tuesday: A day which can be described with two words: Cleaning poop!!! – Starting the day with barn chores (means feed the goats, clean the barn and so on), then weh ad to do the Barn Clean Out. This means we put the goats and the chicken into another shelter, so that we can clean the whole shelter of them. Bringing the poop away, then bringing new straw in there. This takes always aat least two hours. So we finished at 12. I took my break and then time has come. After lunch, Time for the farmer Tom. I was allowed to take the tractor. Normally noone gets permission for that, but Debbie trusts me (I think so), so she explained me how things are handled and then I cleaned the whole horse paddock on my own. Well, I mean Liesa and Kathy helped me, becuase u cannot do the whole horse paddock on your own. This took approx 2 hours. Then work was done. This day was so cool, because a dream of my childhood came reality. Driving a tractor, cleaning horse poop with it…awesome! No, for real…it has been really cool. I get to know a lot of different stuff here, I´m learning every day something new and gaining a lot of experiences. I would say one of my best days here in Canada yet. But the day wasn´t over. In the evening Christa drove with us to Tim Hortons (I already fall in love with it – like every Canadien loves it). I took a frozen lemonade Smoothie – Recommendation for everyone…then we went to a LCBO Store (a Store where u can buy alcohol – because alcohol can just be bought in extra stores here in Canada). I bought to sixpacks of beer, Lina said tom e why don´t you buy three, then you would have some on stock, but I was like: Why, I already have three, if I´ll buy two😉

Wednesday: A cool day too. I was allowed to do some more stuff with the tractor. I already posted something on Instagram about it. Then we went on a walk. Nothing important. Just telling u that tractor stuff again. I really love driving it😊
Thursday: Cool day, Actually the day was extremely boring. We made the alpaca enclosure Christmassy and then made videos and photos for the social media accounts of Haute Goat. It was fun to watch Tiny Tim (our pony), Piper and Molly (our two goats), Milo and Arya and the alpacas standing together in the enclosure. Afterwards, however, the funny part of the day actually came. In the morning I had to test my manual skills. I built a fertilization staircase for our goat Bock Theo. Feta our only Egyptian goat is currently in Heat (which means she is willing to mate). We wanted to cover you with Theo. The problem is Feta weighs 30 kilos more than Theo and is two heads bigger than him. This means he can’t reach her thing with his thing. Tom built the stairs so that Theo is higher than Feta and can reach it. The four of us stood in the enclosure and pressed Feta against the wall, put the stairs behind it and pulled Theo up there by his horns, but every attempt didn’t work. The two of them just couldn’t get it right. After an hour of trying every method, we gave up. My fertilization ladder was broken (thanks to Feta, Theo and Sandra), Feta was not pregnant, but despite our failure, I am proud to have had such a great experience. Helping two animals to mate. Holding up Feta’s tail, rubbing my body and Theo’s body (male goats pee on themselves because the smell is supposed to be attractive to the goats) and building a staircase for two stupid animals. An all around beautiful day. The end of the song: We all went into the house smelling of goat pee and showered for 30 minutes each. I think I’ll throw the clothes away.

Friday: Boring day… Well, acutally I had my day off…I talked to my parents. Happy to see them, I still miss them. But nothing else happend. Just writing my blog, a letter for a good friend and starting a new series – Peaky Blinders. Currently I am not convinced by it, but maybe this is going to change…
Weekend: Saturday, normally our busiest day the week, but this week it wasn´t busy. I was happy to receive a wonderful letter from a girlfriend of mine. Toronto is going tob e a red zone from today on. That means everything is closed… it is similiar tot he current situation in Germany. Fort hat reason I decided that I won´t go together with Christa to Toronto on Sunday evening. I really cannot do there anything. Anyways, work was boring. But after work we drove to Port Hope. Christa, Lina, Sandra and me. The reason we went there was that Christa wanted to take a longer walk with Bakiri and I wanted to go swimming. Yes you heard right… I went swimming in the lake Ontario. It was really cold. Really cold. I guess it´s obvious that it´s cold, i mean it is November in Canada… However afterwards I really loved it. I directly got flashbacks. I always went swimming together with my dad in the north sea, I enjoyed it every time and I´m really upset or sad that I had to go swimming on my own without my dad. Normally this is our father and son „thing“ – hopefully we´ll to i tone day on Vancouver Island if u and Mom are going to pick me up here. One more thing… Maybe I will attach a picture of me swimming in the Lake Ontario. And I think I´m going to use every oppurtunitie of swimming in Canada, no matter how cold it is, where it is, what weather it is…..

Sunday: Lazy, not busy day… Ok we had a storm above us for the whole afternoon and the whole night, but nothing else…
