Last week on the farm. I am definitley going to miss the time here, because it was really cool, but I am looking forward to my next adventure. One week together with Sandra and Lina in Calgary. Furhter probably I am going to go on a Road Trip with Mario. Mario, a guy, who is at the moment on the farm Haute Goat, where I´ve been. He couldn´t come to Canada because of Covid, he tried to receive a job offer, but couldn´t get one because of Covid. I asked Christa, if she needs someone for february and she said yes, so, now he is here. We had contact on Facebook, already when I was back in Germany. Anyway, we are planning to do this RoadTrip together. Plan ist o start and end on Vancouver Island. There is a lot of stuff, which you can do and it is just beautiful. Whale watching, Hiking… So much stuff to do.
Monday: I was so excited and frigthened of the day xD FCSP : HSV… I watched the whole game and of course the better club won and stays City Champions.

On Wednesday I rode again together with La. First time for me riding with reins. It was quiet fun and I think I did pretty good. I was able to do the rising trot. But I have to admit that it was much easier this time, because I was riding Guiness (La´s horse). Guiness gives the rider a better bounce than Triton and further he is not so weight. Much easier for me. Guiness is a completely white horse. I was thinking about putting one my grey or white jacket or cape… why? I would have played Gandalf on Guiness. The only thing missing was the perfect location. I would have loved to go to New Zealand with my cousin Felix (he knows his way around there), visit the location of The Hobbit and re-enact the scene when Gandalf comes in with his trailer full of fireworks for Bilbo’s birthday and then Frodo (that would be Felix, because of the feet) comes to him. @Felix, you may choose if I play the grey -or white Gandalf. Greetings to Saarbrücken 😉
On Friday I had my last day of work… After almost 6 months working on two different farm, in two different places with different people, I am so looking forward to do something except work. From now on I have almost two months free time. After morning chores, Bev, John, the danish girl and me, went to the „chuckwagon cafe“ in turner valley, a little town, south of calgary. It is known and rewarded fort he best burger of Calgary, yes of whole Calgary. Of course when we arrived we waited outside for 15minutes, it was so bussssy. Anyway then we got a table and I ordered the „Best Burger of town“ and i have to admit it was really good. NGL… I don´t know if I would call it the best burger i ever had, but it gets close to that. Anyway, it was a cute, little and really old restaurant and I really enjoyed our time there. More to go.

Saturday was a lazy day. The cool thing about it was, that we made a movie evening. We watched „The boy in the stripped pijama“ and „Straigt outta Compton“. Two incredible movies. Really good. Anyway, I didn´t do a lot. I had a phone call with Mario and we planed our RoadTrip on Van Island. After that I started to clean my room and I packed everything together. It was tough, but I got everything into my luggage. Close, but everything is in. One day later, Bev brought me around 3 to the train station and at 4 I checked in in my AirBnB. Now, I am looking forward to an amazing week together with Sandra and Lina. Let´s see what this week brings.
After that week, I´ll be for a month in Vancouver. Then Mario and I are gonna go on a Road Trip on Vancouver Island for 15 days. I don´t know, but maybe I can attach our travel journey, so that u guys can see it. I fit is not possible, just text me and I can send it to you. I almost planed everything fort he rest of my year abroad, except the four weeks in Vancouver. I guess I´ll find something, but maybe you guys have any idea how I can spend my time there.
